The Bible is a wonderful illustration
of God's love for us. God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to live and
then die for the sins of everyone - including you. Because Jesus died your sins can
be forgiven. And through His resurrection you can be assured eternal life.
No matter who you are, where you are, what you've done, what you haven't
done, God wants to have a personal relationship with you.
Does
God love you?
You need to know that God loves us all.
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only
Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal
life." John 3:16
Are you a sinner?
You need to know that all have sinned.
"...for all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of
God..." Romans 3:23
Sin is what separates us from God. And the price of sin is death.
"For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God
is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23
Do you want forgiveness for your sins?
You need to confess your sins.
"...if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe
in your heart that God raised Him from the dead you will be saved;
for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness,
and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation."
Romans 10:9-19
You need to know that Jesus came and died on the cross and paid
the penalty for you.
"But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While
we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8
Are you willing to surrender your life to Christ?
Jesus is the only way to God.
"I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to
the Father but through Me." John 14:6
You need to live your life for the Lord.
". . . and He died for all, so that those who live might
no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died and rose again
on their behalf." 2 Corinthians 5:15
Are you ready to invite Jesus into your life?
You need to accept the offer from Jesus.
"Behold, I stand at the door and know, if anyone hears My
voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine
with him, and he with Me." Revelation 3:20
If you would like to invite Jesus into your heart
here is a short prayer to help you get started
"Dear Lord, I have sinned against you. Please forgive
all of my sins. I believe that Jesus died on the cross and then
rose for me. Lord, I open my heart and life to do with what You
wish. I want Jesus Christ to come into my life and heart. Amen."
