Background
David was born and raised in Shelby, NC.  After graduating from Shelby High School he did his undergrad work at Gardner-Webb University and received his Master of Divinity with honors and languages from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC.  He has also completed studies in life coaching and family systems.

Family
Jane, David's wife, is originally from Alcolu, SC.  She is a graduate of Baptist College of Charleston and Southeastern Theological Seminary.  They have a son and daughter, JD and Rachel.  JD graduated from NC State and Rachel is a graduate of Wingate University.  JD lives in Boulder Colorado and Rachel resides in Monroe, NC.

Hobbies & Interests
David enjoys the laid back adventures of the outdoors including camping and fishing.  He also is an avid reader and can usually be found with a book or two.  David also enjoys traveling, with Jane of course, and the early morning rush of yard sales!
