First Baptist Church is organized and maintained for the purpose of advancing and promoting the Kingdom of God and continuing the work of Jesus Christ in our community and throughout the world as proclaimed in the scriptures. The church will attempt to fulfill this Biblical mandate through the following ministries:

• providing opportunities for Christian worship and Christian education, equipping experiences, missions and ministry activities, and evangelism;
• encouraging spiritual growth of its members, seeking the lost, ministering to special needs, proclaiming the Gospel, and serving as an instrument of Christian influence in the community;
• enlisting commitment and involvement of its members in a Christian life style, and;
• supporting God's Kingdom through prayer, participation in church activities, and faithful stewardship of time, talents, and material possessions.
