First Baptist Church - 201 Anderson Street - Fayetteville, NCWe respect your opinion. We value your service. We encourage your growth. We care for your family. We know you by name.
At First Baptist Church we have a place for you - whether you're a regular churchgoer, someone who's never been part of a church family or you're new to the Fayetteville area.  From Fayetteville to Fort Bragg out to Wade and St. Pauls people come from all over to be a part of the First Baptist Church family!  We encourage you to join us each Wednesday evening for a relaxed atmosphere of Christian praise and fellowship at Family Night. On Sundays, Sunday School begins at 9:45 AM and the Worship Service at 11:00 AM.

Notes from the January 31 Messenger

Because we did not meet on Sunday morning, here are a few important notes from your Sunday Messenger:

  • Because of the inclement weather this weekend, we will extend our collection of cases of soup into this week.
  • On Weds., Feb. 3, all the WMU Groups will provide soup, sandwiches, salad, and desserts for the Wednesday night meal. Proceeds from the meal will go to the North Carolina WMU and FBC's Benevolence Fund. We encourage everyone to make a reservation, eat, and offer a generous donation.
  • This year's Winter Adventure for preschoolers and school-aged children is scheduled for Fri., Feb. 5. Please call the church or check your Visitor for additional information.
  • The Brotherhood and the Building and Grounds Committee are teaming up for a church workday at 8 a.m. on Sat., Feb. 6. They plan to work until noon. Additional information is in the Visitor and posted on the new Brotherhood bulletin board, across from the kitchen.
  • We will notify committee members as soon as possible about the re-scheduling of the New Century Fund and Building and Grounds meetings that were cancelled on Sunday, January 31.
